About Andrew:
Andrew Askwith BioÂ
I am the founder and Managing Director of AHJ Wills & Estates. I am also a Chartered Financial Planner so provide clients with tailored financial planning. I have worked within the financial services and estate planning industry for over 20 years. My experience has made me change my business model many times over the years to what it is today. We are estate planners that make a difficult topic for many to consider simple, tailored, and create peace of mind.Â
I’m Andrew, the founder and Managing Director of AHJ Wills & Estates. With over 20 years of experience in financial services and estate planning, I’ve built this firm around the idea that even the most complex matters can be made simple, personal, and reassuring. As a Chartered Financial Planner, I offer clients bespoke financial and estate planning that evolves with their needs.Â
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, from individuals with large estates and intricate tax requirements to those navigating the challenges of blended families. No two situations are the same, which is why I take an empathetic, practical approach, always asking: “What would I do if I were in the client’s shoes?”Â
At AHJ Wills & Estates, we specialise in complex estate and tax planning, including trust structuring, will writing, and lasting powers of attorney. We believe that early planning brings peace of mind, and we encourage all clients to regularly review their arrangements as life circumstances change.Â
I’m a proud member of the Personal Finance Society and the Society of Will Writers, which allows me to stay up to date with regulatory standards and maintain continuous professional development. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our 5-star Google rating, something I’m incredibly proud of and grateful for.Â
Outside of work, I’m a husband to Helen and a proud dad to two incredibly talented children, my son competes in swimming and my daughter in dance. Life is busy, but when time allows, I enjoy playing golf, catching a film, and spending time with family and friends.Â
Giving back is a core value at AHJ Wills & Estates. We’ve raised over £20,000 for local charities since our inception, supporting causes that are close to our hearts and making a real difference in the community.Â
