AHJ Wills & Estates

Meet our team – Josh

Meet Josh Allalat.

About Josh:

Having graduated a year ago from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Business and Management with Law, I’m proud to be part of the team at AHJ Wills & Estates Ltd, supporting the estate planning process from an administrative perspective. I assist with the preparation and coordination of documents, client communications, and day-to-day operations to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Though I’m not in a client-facing adviser role, I enjoy contributing to a service that truly makes a difference in people’s lives. I was drawn to this line of work because it blends legal structure with real-world impact, and I enjoy being part of a team that helps bring clarity and peace of mind to clients and their families.

My approach to work is professional, detail-oriented, and people-focused. I aim to be helpful, organised, and easy to work with, someone both clients and colleagues can rely on. One piece of advice I often hear around the office and fully agree with is: “Don’t wait, plan early.” Even small steps toward getting your affairs in order can make a big difference later on.

Since joining AHJ, I’ve received training in key areas of the estate planning process and continue to build my knowledge every day. I’m also looking forward to exploring future development through industry-recognised qualifications.

Originally from London, I’ve always been passionate about sports and am a dedicated Fulham supporter. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends, watching football, and occasionally getting to the gym. Portugal is one of my favourite holiday spots. I love the mix of beaches, food, and atmosphere. Something people might be surprised to learn is that I once considered going into sports media before switching focus to business and legal studies.

To me, estate planning is about making sure people feel secure and informed about their future. If I had to sum up my working ethos in a sentence, it would be: “Stay organised, stay positive, and always support the people around you.”
