AHJ Wills & Estates
Meet our team – Victoria
Meet Victoria Haycock.

About Victoria:
I work as an Estate Planning Consultant at AHJ Wills & Estates Ltd, helping clients structure their estates to protect their assets and provide peace of mind for the future. With over 16 years in the financial industry, primarily in wealth management and the last four years focusing on estate planning and Wills, I’ve developed a strong specialism in inheritance tax planning, particularly during my seven years at Coutts.
What I enjoy most is making a complex area feel manageable for clients and giving them reassurance that their families will be well cared for. My approach is friendly, empathetic, and thorough. I take time to understand each client’s unique circumstances and goals to offer tailored, jargon-free solutions.
At AHJ Wills & Estates, we pride ourselves on building lasting relationships and delivering clear, practical advice. Clients often tell me they value how approachable I am and how I make things feel simple. I always advise people not to wait, estate planning isn’t just for later in life; early action brings more flexibility and peace of mind.
Over the years, I’ve completed various accreditations in financial services and estate planning to ensure the advice I give is compliant and effective. I’m also a proud member of the Society of Will Writers (SWW), which helps me stay current with best practices.
My previous experience, especially at Coutts, gave me deep insight into high-net-worth estate planning and complex inheritance tax strategies, as well as how to handle sensitive conversations with care and professionalism.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my young family, baking, and exploring the Peak District. Baking, in particular, is a creative outlet and a way to relax. I love travelling too, especially to places like Northumberland and the Peak District for their stunning landscapes and tranquillity.
One thing I wish more people knew about estate planning is that it’s not just about money, it’s about protecting your family, values, and legacy. When I talk about peace of mind, I mean helping clients feel confident they’ve made thoughtful, informed decisions for their loved ones.
If I had to summarise my working ethos in one sentence, it would be: clear, compassionate advice that puts people first.
